What we publish
ADI News welcomes proposals from experienced professionals, independent analysts, researchers, founders, operators and writers who can help readers understand how business decisions are made and why markets or industries are changing. We are interested in original reporting, informed analysis, practical explainers, carefully argued opinion and case studies with lessons that extend beyond one company.
A suitable contribution should have a clear business angle and offer knowledge that is not obvious from a press release or a quick internet search. Global subjects are welcome, as are regional and local developments that reveal a wider commercial trend. We publish in English and Russian and may discuss translation with an author after accepting a proposal.
- Company strategy, management and entrepreneurship.
- Finance, investment, trade and economic policy.
- Technology, industrial change and operational innovation.
- Markets, supply chains and regional business conditions.
- Evidence-based lessons from professional practice.
What we do not publish
We do not accept articles written mainly to advertise a company, product, service, event or personal brand. Submissions built around keyword placement, undisclosed affiliate relationships, paid links or promises of reciprocal promotion are not editorial contributions. Press releases should be identified as press releases and submitted separately rather than rewritten as independent analysis.
We also decline material that is copied, previously published, simultaneously offered as exclusive work elsewhere, unsupported by reliable evidence, defamatory, discriminatory or unlawfully obtained. A strong opinion is welcome when it is transparent about assumptions and engages fairly with relevant facts; unsupported accusations are not.
How to pitch
Please pitch the idea before sending a complete manuscript. A useful proposal is short enough to assess quickly but specific enough to show the intended argument. Explain why the subject matters now, what the reader will learn, which evidence or first-hand experience supports the piece and why you are qualified to write it.
Use the subject line “Contributor pitch: proposed headline”. Include a working headline, a two- or three-paragraph outline, the expected length, links to key sources, a brief biography and up to three examples of relevant work. Tell us whether the idea has been offered elsewhere and disclose any professional, financial or personal connection to the companies or subjects discussed.
- Lead with the central insight rather than a general topic.
- Identify the intended reader and the practical value of the article.
- Name the primary sources, data or interviews you expect to use.
- Mention any time-sensitive event or proposed publication window.
- Do not send large attachments with the initial pitch.
Manuscript guidelines
Accepted features will normally be at least 2,000 words unless an editor agrees to a different format. Write in clear, direct language and use descriptive subheadings. Distinguish verified facts from estimates and opinions. Dates, names, quotations and numerical claims must be accurate and traceable to primary documents or reputable sources supplied as links.
Authors should explain specialised terms, provide necessary international or regional context and avoid unnecessary jargon. Charts, photographs and illustrations must be original, licensed for publication or clearly identified for editorial review. Do not embed promotional calls to action. Links are added because they help readers verify or understand the article, not as compensation for a submission.
Originality, disclosure and AI
A submission must be original and must not infringe copyright, confidentiality, privacy or other rights. Quote and attribute other people’s work accurately. Tell the editor about funding, employment, investments, advisory roles, clients, gifts or other interests that a reasonable reader could consider relevant. ADI News may publish an appropriate disclosure with the article.
If generative AI or another automated system materially assisted research, drafting, translation, data analysis or image creation, disclose that use in the pitch. The named author remains responsible for every statement, source and citation. We do not accept unverified machine-generated copy, fabricated quotations, invented sources or automated rewrites of other publications.
Editing, rights and publication
Acceptance of a pitch does not guarantee publication. Editors may request evidence, fact-check claims, change the structure, edit for clarity and length, write a headline or decline a draft that does not meet the agreed brief. Material changes will normally be discussed with the author, but ADI News retains final editorial control over presentation, timing and whether a piece is published.
The author must have the right to submit the work. Publication rights, exclusivity, syndication and any payment are agreed in writing before publication; unsolicited work should not be assumed to be paid. We do not guarantee backlinks, search ranking, traffic or a publication date. Published work remains subject to our editorial standards and corrections policy.
Send your proposal
Use the Contact page and begin the subject with “Contributor pitch:”. Paste the proposal into the message field rather than attaching a full draft. Include your name, location, professional background and a reliable email address. Never send passwords, private keys, banking records or sensitive personal data through the ordinary contact form.
We review proposals according to editorial priorities and available capacity. We may contact you for more information, but cannot promise an individual response to every submission. If you have not heard from us, you may offer the idea elsewhere. Sending a proposal confirms that the information you provide is accurate and that you agree to this process.
